We had a great time in this city and the hotel had the best aspects. The location was perfect, as it was close to the train station, so we were able to quickly and easily get around. The hotel facilities were really clean and well-maintained, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Plus, they served a delicious breakfast every morning that we loved!

Disclaimer upfront: b&b La Casa Di Rosy is basically an apartment on busy Via Napoleone iii in a very convenient location. Understand that (like in many B&Bs in Rome) you might not actually stay in that apartment but your room may be in another b&b nearby. But don't let that put you off! Our room was in fact in the 'New Inn', very modern, good facilities (free wifi, hairdryer, flatscreen tv) and clean. We got a breakfast ticket for the nearby 'Gran Caffe' which we could redeem for a cappucino and a croissant. Staff were friendly and helpful.
It is very hard to find: Google gives an incorrect location for no. 10 and in fact the b&b is at no. 10A. You then have to find the right doorbell where it says "Casa Di Rosy" in tiny print. Staff is not around all the time, so you might not be able to check in late at night.

This hotel is truly luxurious and exclusive. From the moment I arrived, I felt pampered and attended to like nowhere else. the private facilities were remarkable, and the room itself was stunningly decorated. The staff was always ready to assist, and the location was incredibly convenient, with easy access to all the local attractions. Cons: the only minor issue I came across was that the service at breakfast was a bit slow, but the delicious food more than made up for it. this hotel exceeded all my expectations and provided an unforgettable stay.

the room was spacious and had a flat screen tv with dvd player. the room was to the courtyard and quite. the room was across the road so it felt more like a flat than a hotel but you didn't get the helpful reception service you need when you're only there for a short time.
the room wasn't really clean, especially the bathroom. the dvd player only worked with a special set up by me because of a lack of power points at the right spot. i was in a different building so i didn't feel like beeing in a hotel and so withouit help from the reception. you had to cross the street to go for breakfast which was fine but either the staff didn't speak english or they didn't care for you. especially the girl on sunday was absolutely not interested. they wanted the full rate up front in cash. who carries that much money around? there was no hot water for my first one and a half days.

Bait and Switch - Looks great but they take bookings and then send you up the street to basically a mate's tiny apt which has 3 bedrooms......breakfast - a voucher for a bar many streets away for a free coffee and croissant!
I felt they cheated me by taking my reservation, and also the other people I met there.

My dad and I had a fantastic stay at a budget-friendly B&B located conveniently within walking distance to the Colosseum and Termini station. Our room was always clean with daily bed-making and a newly renovated bathroom. the friendly staff was visible and helpful in the mornings and during the day, and the free WiFi was a plus. Though breakfast lacked variety, it was more than enough for us.
The elevator broke down for two days, but as we only stayed on the third floor, it didn't make much of a difference.

It was almost impossible to find with no signage at all. The shower trickled water, there was a TV that didn't work and glasses weren't provided in the rooms.

Very nice hotel with nice staff and comfort room.. Aircon. Location is perfect for first visitors in Rome.
Breakfast is not anything special, but nice arranged and what to expect in Italy. One bed broken (but we could turn it around)

Responsive staff, a light breakfast: croissant, cereal, tea and coffee. The hotel's location is excellent.

Good location, close to Termini station, close to city centre
Do not expect a breakfast like you can see pictured on the website, breakfast was losy (plastic plates, little choice of jam, croissants in a plastic bag etc). And if you get a room by the street, get yourself some good earplugs ! The streetnoise of passing traffic is enormous.

During my Christmas stay, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this small hotel. the friendly staff was always eager to help and provided us with all the information we needed for our stay. the location couldn't have been better - it was just a few steps away from the main attractions and restaurants. the breakfast provided was much better than expected and filled us up for our day of exploring.
the room was quite small and noisy, which detracted from our overall comfort.

Breakfast is very poor and sometimes (if you have room in different building) you have to walk about 200 m. In rooms there aren’t any kettle so you can’t prepare tea or coffee. You hear everything what is going on in other rooms. Horrible!

Staff were kind and I liked them. Very close to Termini and historical Roma. It would help if the hotel had a sign on the wall for "Casa di Rosy" as I have read many reviews where guests complain they can't find it. I must agree it is a little difficult.
Not much really as I was there only a few days. I guess in the future a change in décor might help as the furnishings are a little old and need something to make the rooms more cosy, but for me it was fine. I was very surprised the price jumped from 40 a night in November 15th 2010 to 45 a night on January 18th 2011 + 2 tax.
